Shes mixed race. Her mother is Malagasy from the capital city Antananarivo, Madagascar (an island country in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Southeast Africa). Her father is a French ex-pat who lived in Nigeria, and split from Verissimo’s mother prior to her birth. She was raised primarily in France, as well as the United States and Nigeria.
